Hello, I am Alex Deleenheer – an engineer with a passion for process optimization, value analysis and collaboration. My career started at KU Leuven and Odisee, where I built my knowledge of electromechanical engineering and production technology.

During my professional experience at companies like Petersime and Dynaco Assa Abloy I discovered my strength: connecting production, R&D and supply chain. I often acted as a bridge between these departments to make processes and products more efficient and to realize valuable improvements.
 

Why AI and VA/VE?
 

The combination of AI and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) fascinated me more and more. How can we design smarter? How can we reduce costs without sacrificing quality? And above all: how can we work more sustainably? These questions led to the creation of my own AI-driven tool: the Value Analysis & Value Engineering Assistant.

With this tool I help companies to:

• Developing sustainable designs inspired by biomimicry and modern technology
